Ling WilLing Commonweal Association
Ling College at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen established the Ling WilLing Center on July 31, 2023. This student-led public service organization operates under the core principle of “Empowering through Philanthropy, Serving the Community.”
The association is dedicated to advancing philanthropic ideals through diverse public welfare activities, cultivating socially responsible and action-oriented young scholars while enhancing college cultural development. It aims to build an influential philanthropy brand by adhering to three tenets: “Philanthropy First, Student-Led, Compliant and Transparent.”
Grounding its work in campus and societal needs, WilLing designs volunteer initiatives and public service projects that provide members with platforms to engage in philanthropy and develop leadership skills. All activities strictly comply with laws, university regulations, and financial transparency protocols.
As the flagship philanthropic entity of Ling College, WilLing extends opportunities to the entire campus community and beyond. It not only offers volunteer positions with Civl Education (CEC) certification but also actively bridges campus and external resources, expanding collaborative networks to support member growth.
Structured with a standardized management system, the association features a Presidium and three functional departments, practicing democratic decision-making and collaborative governance. Sustainable development is achieved through diversified funding channels.
Moving forward, Ling WilLing Center will continue to unite compassionate forces, translating goodwill into meaningful actions and demonstrating responsibility in shaping a better future.
