Scholarship Regulations of Ling College
1. Principles
1.1 To implement the overall goal of whole-person education effectively, commend excellence, and motivate students, Ling College sets up various awards for students (including undergraduate and graduate students).
1.2 Ling College establishes Awards Committee of Ling College, to implement the selection of awards in Ling College.
1.3 Fairness and impartiality must be maintained in the award evaluation process.
2. Awards and Amount
2.1 Six scholarship awards would be set in Ling College, including the Master's List, Talent Contribution Award, Leadership Award, Volunteer Award, Social Practice Award and Outstanding Student Organization Award (Group Award).
2.2 The Talent Contribution Award, Leadership Award, Volunteer Award and Social Practice Award are open for all Ling Students to apply for independently. The Master's List is based on recommendations. The College Office will collect application materials from all applicants of the above four individual awards, and select particularly outstanding candidates to participate in the interview for the Master's List. The Outstanding Student Organization Award will be determined in conjunction with the annual review of student organizations.
2.3 Ling College Scholarship is expected to cover 46 students and 2 student organizations, with a total expenditure of 218,000 RMB. Refer to Appendix I for the specific award settings and amounts.
